Monaco & Associates Incorporated has been doing business in Topeka, Kansas, since 1986. We've had a chance to get to know many fine firms firms in the area, as well as a couple of doozies. Topeka is an excellent place to live and work.

Businesses We Support

Here is a list of businesses that we think very highly of. They are noted for reliability and excellent customer support.

  • John Walker, CPA, has been our accountant since we've been in business.
  • First Impressions prints many of the materials that we publish. Our account representatives have always been helpful and supportive, particularly when we were first learning the business.
  • Central Video of Kansas City has been providing us with videotapes and, more recently, DVDs since 1989. Thanks to Brian Newald!
  • Bottom Dollar, a women-owned office furniture and supply store, has been providing us with most of our office supplies and much of our furniture for over 10 years.
  • Desch Construction and Remodeling did an excellent job of modifying our office space when we expanded in 2008.
  • R.E. Dunne Insurance provided us with our first office insurance policy, then worker's compensation, and has now merged with 'People's Insurance', which provides other insurance.
  • Smith Audio-Visual. Although we do not often use their services, the people at Smith's made it simpler for us to develop our training series. They were always helpful and are caring people.
  • Bank of America - Huntoon Branch is part of a large chain, but the personal service that one receives at the bank is outstanding.

Businesses We No Longer Support

There are a few businesses that are so egregious in their practices that we actively warn folks about:

  • Citizen's Bank and Trust of Missouri, moved into Topeka when there was a banking crisis at Columbian Bank in 2009, bought the assets of Columbian and then proceeded to make changes and add charges without letting business customers know.
