Rebecca graduated from Creighton University with a B.S. in Elementary Education and an M.S. in Counseling. She has been employed as a para-educator, substitute teacher, personal care attendant and substance abuse counselor. Rebecca has worked 15 years with folks who have developmental disabilities. Currently she is Director of Case Management with Monaco & Associates, Inc. Rebecca has two girls and plays guitar at her church as a hobby.

Shelli a native of Emporia, Kansas, she attended Emporia State University majoring in photography. Shelli joined the Monaco & Associates family in July/2008 after working 12 years for the Emporia branch of Multi Commuinty Diversifed Services. Shelli worked at Hillcrest House/LMC Services (

Chase counties)where she did a variety of jobs including medical records, direct care, Site Manager and Case Management. Hillcrest House was a six bed intermediate care facilty and LMC Services was residential, day services and case management. Shelli stills lives in Emporia and in her spare time she spends time with her family, and friends. Her hobbies include bowling, throwing darts, watching NASCAR, College & Pro football and KU basketball.

Marvin has been with Monaco & Associates, Incorporated since 2002 in the position of service coordinator. As the senior member of the service coordination team, he has witnessed many changes in service delivery. Marvin attended the University of Kansas, where he played basketball. Marvin has a daughter and son who also enjoy hoops. He is very active with his children, and coaching his sons' baseball team. Marvin enjoys fishing, hunting, going to sporting events, and working with his dogs.

Shawna graduated from the University of Phoenix with a Bachelors in Health Administration and will earn her MBA and Health Management in March of 2009.Her experience includes 13 years working in developmental disabilities field, providing direct support, job development, and Case Management, with additional experience in the mental health field.
Shawna is currently with Monaco and Associates providing Case Management. She has lived in Topeka since 1992 and enjoys the community activities Topeka has to offer including being an avid volleyball player with Topeka Parks and Recreation. She also enjoys weight training, and her cat.

EditErin Menhusen
Erin is a member of the service coordination team. Erin graduated
from Washburn University in 2007 with a Bachelor's in Psychology. She will
complete her Master's in Gerontology in the summer of 2010. Erin has
experience working with individuals, couples, and families. She is
particularly interested in working with older adults and their families. In
her free time, Erin enjoys reading, playing softball, running, and

After 25 years as a clinical psychologist, Dr.Hoover made an unusual career switch to computer information sciences. She served as a programmer/analyst for the Kansas Department of Administration for four years. Since 2001, she has been in charge of technical support, quality assurance, and software development for Monaco & Associates Incorporated.

Jacquei works as the Administrative Assistant for Monaco & Associates. She received her BSW from Washburn University. She has worked with various populations, including families and the elderly. She has a son and enjoys spending time with her family.

John received his undergraduate degree from Washburn University in Sociology/Psychology and Masters degree from the University of Kansas in Social Work. He has worked in the mental health field for over 25 years, and developed dual diagnosis modalities. He enjoys jogging, photography, writing and music. At Monaco & Associates, Inc., John works in administration and provides clinical consultation.
